Senior UI Engineer @ FactorChain

About Us:

FactorChain is a stealth security startup focused on providing an innovative, integrated platform for incident response. The mission is to build highly interactive user interfaces for large-scale data exploration in mission critical IT & security workflows.

The Role:

Clarity of presentation and ease of navigation will be key to enable a new class of security event management system, with many opportunities for creative usability, visual design, and aesthetic impression.

The ideal candidate is a creative thinker who is able to see the big picture of how their design impacts the client experience. Required skills will span JavaScript (EC6) and React at the front end to basic interaction with Python/Django on the back end.

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

• 2+ years experience with JavaScript, jQuery and Bootstrap
• 1+ years experience with React framework
• Solid understanding of browser fundamentals, HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript/jQuery
• Unit Testing framework experience with jasmine, qunit, karma or similar

Bonus Points:

• Product development work preferred to special projects or consulting
• Experience in log management and system administration applications
• Experience in a SaaS environment a big plus
