The Application Architect directs a staff of development leads in ensuring that common architecture decisions are implemented consistently across business and IT in order to support the business and IT strategy. The role will shape the strategic agenda and will directly impact architecture, application strategies and operating model adherence. This role will have key influence over business decisions related to technology, development and design standards.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Authorizes and oversees application(s) design, support, plans implementation strategies and guides Epic level prioritization.

• Responsible for researching, analyzing, designing, and delivery of web and mobile application architecture solutions that are appropriate for the business and IT strategies in one or more domains.

• Manage the effort to support, resolve and document issues that arise in the architecture. This may include reviewing designs and recommending improvements to the architecture.

• Responsible for being aware of IT industry trends, and enterprise standards and methodology and being able to react to issues that arise.

• Define, implement and maintain technology security infrastructure, policies, processes and procedures to proactively protect, monitor, investigate and resolve threats to a secure user environment and company assets


Qualifications

· Minimum of 15 years of experience in lieu of Technical Master’s Degree

· Experience creating an enterprise architecture (application, data, and technical)
that is aligned to business and IT imperatives

· Experience leading technical teams with application development using SQL,
C#, .NET, IIS, HTML, CSS, Javascript.

· Experience with web applications that use responsive design to better support
mobile browsers.

· Experience in highly-secured online environments that use n-tier designs and
extensive firewalling to enhance security.

· Experience interfacing with back-end applications using MQ, SOAP, RESTful
services, and JSON.

·
Experience with building and maintaining effective relationships with
stakeholders, clients, peers, supervisors, subordinates and other internal
company staff especially related to Online Banking and Mobile Delivery

Education:

· Bachelor’s Degree required

· Master’s Degree preferred


Hours & Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
