The role:
As a senior leader in the Sourcepoint Product Engineering team, you’ll leverage your understanding of the the digital content space and incorporate feedback from external and internal customers to play a key role in developing product strategy and delivering new product capabilities across the entire Sourcepoint product suite.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teams across the company on large-scale product opportunities to identify the vision for new products, capabilities and markets
- Understand and maintain Sourcepoint’s “Point Of View” with respect to the future of content compensation, ensuring Sourcepoint roadmap is aligned with that future state
- Maintain a deep understanding of the overall market, with specific focus on competitive and near-competitive solutions
- Work with other Product Engineering leaders to effectively plan for and manage product delivery, including development of applicable product planning/requirements documents
- Manage communication and expectations with internal and external clients, define commercialization and go-to-market practices, and support the client services teams with product roll-out
- Measure and analyze existing products for opportunities to innovate/improve
- Evangelize products to clients and internal employees of Sourcepoint
- As necessary, represent Sourcepoint products to the media and customer communities worldwide
- Define product success metrics and construct a framework to continuously analyze product performance to assess success and/or challenges
Qualifications:
- 7+ years in a product management role
- 5+ years in a product management role at a consumer-facing digital content company
- 3+ years of prior experience working with subscription or e-commerce solutions
- Proven experience with standard product management activities
- Proven experience with understanding true client needs and articulating those needs to other teams
- Proven track record of transforming a vision into working product delivered to a significant number of end users
- Strong leader who can drive consensus and be an excellent communicator who can articulate feature trade-offs and design choices
- Ability to think strategically and craft a compelling vision
- Exceptional collaboration skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Clear understanding of the digital advertising space.
- Strong technical training preferred: BS/MS in computer science, engineering, or other technical field. MBA a plus.
- Located or willing to relocate to NYC
