Responsibilities:

MSG Ventures was created to advance MSG’s goals of creating the “venue of the future,” along with immersive experiences that revolutionize the way fans, artists, and events engage and connect – both in and out of the venue. Ventures will explore and create technologies that redefine the limits of connectivity, video and acoustics, and content distribution, with the ultimate goal of creating immersive experiences that take place before, during and after an event. MSG Ventures will strategically invest in and partner with companies and institutions developing next-generation technologies that redefine the live entertainment experience. The MSG Ventures, Go to Market Senior Product Manager, will be an integral part of the MSG Ventures Go-To-Market (GTM) team. The GTM practice productizes, and launches connectivity, video, acoustics, and content distribution products and solutions in our arenas/venues across the US. The Senior Product Manager will lead the ideation, technical development and launch of innovative products and solutions.

  • Take ownership in identifying, defining and launching next generation products in collaboration with stakeholders, using data to quantify and drive business priorities
  • Understand industry trends, technologies, customer needs, and opportunities to identify business solutions, features, and go-to-market plans specific to live entertainment and/or media production.
  • Lead new product design and positioning by drafting product vision, requirements document for new products, and develop overall user experience
  • Identify gaps or conflicts in requirements, manage risks and UAT defects and drive towards resolution
  • Define and measure success criteria for product features, and solutions roll-out.
  • Partner with Engineering, and Practice Areas within MSG Ventures to build the next generation of live entertainment technologies

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Four-year degree in STEM
  • 5-8 years of product management experience in Stadium/Arena Technologies, Live Entertainment, or Media Production industry. Specific experience is video display, connectivity, acoustics and content management is highly preferred.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects, work with cross-functional teams to drive implementation of new products and solutions.
  • Superior knowledge of scrum, waterfall and agile development methodologies, processes, tools & techniques
  • Analytical, passionate about technology, intellectually curious, and enthusiastic about working in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills with all levels of management, teams and clients.
