Software QA Manager

COMPRENDO is a growing “mHealth”software company that is transforming the way patients experience healthcare. We are looking to hire an experienced individual to oversee our Mobile App and Cloud based Software Quality Assurance team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop documented test plans for each of our solutions, based on requirements specifications from product management

• Work with Product Management and CTO to set expectations, and coordinate testing cycles and schedules as part of the overall project plan, ensuring delivery against team objectives

•Proactively adapt software quality best practices to our solution development process, and achieve buy-in on these practices

• Ensure that processes and handoffs are observed and followed throughout the development, testing and release cycles

• Manage and grow our team of QA engineers

• Develops best practices and strategies for release management, specifically around a live production service and its content

Qualified candidates will have:

• Minimum of 7 years experience in quality assurance, with at least 3 years at a management/leadership level

• Strong leadership skills, ability to inspire and coordinate employees

• Must be able to understand, read, create, edit json

• Experience with QA of mobile applications as well as web and back-end server solutions

• Demonstrable experience in creating test plans and managing the QA process and QA engineers

• Must be able to read and grasp Objective C and Java / Android code

• Experience in setup and configuration of bug tracking / agile tracking / automated testing tools

•Excellent communications skills, verbal and written

•Highly organized and detail oriented, able to track and prioritize multiple parallel projects
