As Content Manager, you’ll be an integral member of the Marketing Communications team, serving as lead for content-based marketing initiatives to promote the Laserfiche brand—refining and advancing our editorial mission as you plan, produce and analyze the written content we create.

Your time will be spent driving content strategy, managing the content team and writing original content that capitalizes on our unique industry position and philosophy. You’ll collaborate directly with senior members of the global Marketing Communications staff as well as with internal clients at all levels to oversee global editorial content development, develop campaign-specific messaging, and support the Marketing team on larger projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead a team responsible for producing relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience, including growing the team through hiring and training
  • Serve as lead for all written projects, including copy-editing content consistent with style guidelines; building and managing the editorial calendar; ensuring all stakeholders’ needs are met; and determining internal and external sources for content creation
  • Make data-driven decisions to move the team and content forward, including developing the strategy and processes necessary to scale output
  • Work with preferred PR agencies to support global public and media relations activity
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and customer challenges in order to build a more effective editorial calendar

What You'll Need:

  • Four-year degree in English, Journalism, Communications or similar field (graduate degree a plus)
  • 5+ years of experience leading an editorial or content team for a B2B software company preferred. Candidates with agency or media experience will also be considered
  • Leadership experience with excellent communication skills, including the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as third party vendors
  • Strength and speed as a writer / editor, including excellent attention to detail both for line editing copy and consistency in style and tone, and past experience producing content for the web
  • Top-notch organizational and project management skills, strong attention to detail and superior judgment, including the ability to be process-driven and rely on data to make decisions
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook; knowledge of Web-publishing platforms, social media channels and marketing automation software (HubSpot, Marketo) preferred
