Role

In your role as Senior Front End Engineer, you will:

• Build responsive and beautiful web applications.
• Implement new features in a highly collaborative environment with product managers, UI/UX experts, and fellow engineers.
• Contribute to a future-ready, high quality, and performance code base
• Share your technical solutions and product ideas with the team

How you can qualify for this opportunity

To succeed in this position, you’ll need some very special attributes. Demonstrate an exceptional knowledge of modern software engineering tools and best practices. Be eager to learn and excited to be on the cutting edge of technology.

Specifically, though, we need you to have:

• 5+ years software engineering experience with expertise in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• 1+ year with ReactJS
• UX / UI design Experience
• Excellent knowledge of software engineering best practices (e.g. Agile software development, test-driven development, unit testing, code reviews, design documentation, etc…)

Additional Preferred Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Entrepreneurial / Startup Experience
• Experience building backend applications with Java or Node.js
• Experience developing SQL or NoSQL DBMS
• Experience in a cloud based environment (we use AWS)
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (we use Docker)
