POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Full Stack Web Developer will be responsible for re-modernization, re-engineering, and replacing a legacy application using .NET. This position may work 3-4 days remote with 1-2 days in office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, analyze and develop system requirements, program specifications, and system tests to meet business requirements
• Develop, test and implement small, medium to large applications
• Frequently lead large projects, resolve problems of medium to high complexity
• Provide guidance to those in less senior positions
• Attend and participate in design and analysis meetings
• Create technical documentation in the approved format for the task assigned
• Attend and participate in troubleshooting sessions with support personnel
• Developer tasks including requirements understanding, design and development, and testing

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience
• Strong relational database experience and development using SQL Server 2008 R2 or newer
• Proven track record of delivering high quality software
• Solid understanding of object oriented programming principles (Inheritance, Polymorphism, Encapsulation)
• Proven ability to write high quality C# and Javascript application logic with accompanying tests.
• Must be able to explain testing strategies: (Unit, Integration, System, End to End)
• Familiar with development concepts such as Dependency Injection, Mocking/Test Doubles, Object Relational Mappers
• Should be able to explain at a high level what the HTTP protocol is, what the difference between a Get vs a Post request and when to use each
• Buzzwords: NuGet, NPM, Angular, Bootstrap, NHibernate, SVN, Web Api, OWIN, Rabbit MQ, Redis
