UI/UX Designer

We’re looking for an experienced web and mobile UI/UX Designer to join our team at FilmFreeway. In fact, we're looking for the very best designer money can buy.

FilmFreeway is the world leader in the online submission platform space and one the most visible and influential companies in independent film.

We're looking for an exceptional talent to help us take our company to the next level and continue to build and optimize the best user-focused product in the industry.

You will lead our website UI/UX design and shape the overall visual design of our company.

Your work will have a direct impact on our very fast-growing company and its products and will be seen and used by millions of people around the world.

YOU'LL:

• Create clean, beautiful, intuitive interfaces for both web and mobile.
• Create clean, cohesive, compelling advertising materials.
• Develop and shape the visual design of our brand.
• Share and contribute ideas for improvements, new features, and optimizations.

QUALIFICIATIONS:

• A varied and robust portfolio of past work indicating your abilities.
• 3+ years of experience designing consumer web applications.
• An up-to-date understanding of best practices, developments and trends in mobile and web design and usability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to explain and defend design decisions.
• Well rounded and can easily move between UI design, brand design, and marketing communications.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to code to in HTML preferred, but knowledge of current HTML and responsive design standards is required.
• Bonus - Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Job is a full-time, salaried position based in Vancouver, but we are open to a remote and/or part-time arrangement for the right candidate.
