Lead Developer

SUMMARY
Itemize is the receipts processing engine for the digital age. This role at Itemize will put you at the forefront of a new and exciting area of commerce, payments and technology. With the most powerful receipt data extraction and payments reporting platform – we do it with a 99% accuracy in real time– Itemize is looking for the right person to lead the development and engineering team.A successful candidate will be an excellent technologist, manager and communicator, who works well with the CEO and the rest of the management team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The VP Technology and Development will join the technology team in building the Itemize platform.

OBJECTIVES:

• Lead the development and engineering teams to successfully support the growth, sales and product goals of the organization.
• Prepare the systems for increases in scale and continuous improvement of the environment.
• Create synergies within the development team to reduce risks, improve output and accelerate development cycles.
• Strengthen use of development methodologies and processes that are in place and/or introduce new ones to support objectives above.

• C#, JAVA, Machine Learning methodologies and languages, SPARK
• MySQL
• AWS (specifically EC2, RDS, and S3)
• RESTful APIs
• continuous integration, and test driven development
