We are currently seeking an Enterprise Digital Architect to join our team in our Phoenix corporate office.
The Enterprise Digital Architecture position is a part of PetSmart’s IS Solutions division. This role is part of a team which will develop technology strategies and architectures while driving successful projects enabling PetSmart’s digital business. This individual will also be accountable for working with cross functional teams to assess and develop strategies and plans for technology, people and process for both on-line and in-store environments. They will provide strategic leadership and creative thinking, along with digital commerce technology subject matter expertise, to the analysis of technology trends and the identification of new opportunities to help drive brand growth strategies. At PetSmart, our Enterprise Architects take a collaborative, hands-on approach to build a holistic view of our organization’s strategy, processes, information and IT roadmaps to enable continued growth in our mission.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze enterprise business context (trends and business strategy to derive the EA future state.) This includes defining the requirements, principles and models that guide technology decisions for the enterprise
- Define high-level migration plans to address the gaps between the current and future state
- Lead the analysis of the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
- Assist with designing and executing the governance activities associated with ensuring EA compliance, and assist in applying standards and leading practices
Minimum Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
- An MBA or other graduate degree from a leading program and strategic business acumen or perspective preferred
- Technical undergraduate degree preferred
- 10+ Years of eCommerce and digital customer engagement experience with strong experience in analyzing, designing, proposing and delivering technology solutions
- Extensive experience with Demandware Commerce Cloud is strongly preferred
- Technical and/or business certifications a plus
- Should be capable of deriving a Digital Roadmap for the IT Landscape and provide technical inputs on Best Practices and Recommendations for IT Transformation and Digital Enablement
