The team at Octo Telematics North America is looking for an incredibly savvy, efficient, grab-the-bull-by-the-horns marketer who can truly do it all and, frankly, has done it before. Now, as we look to take the company to the next level we need a marketing manager to accelerate and tune the lead generation machine, drive cohesive product launch plans, coordinate our presence at events, and engage customers.

Our ideal candidate:

• Has a passion for inbound marketing, lead generation, social media marketing, SEO, events and content creation

• Has experience in executing multi-step campaigns through a marketing automation tool

• Is efficient, exceedingly well organized, and detail oriented

• Is a strategist, a pragmatist and gets stuff done

• Writes in a way that inspires others to take action

• Has knowledge of search engine marketing (SEM) including SEO, conversion rate optimization, keyword research and analysis, and pay per-click (PPC)

• Is curious, a self-starter and driven to take initiative and fill gaps

• Is an experienced manager of projects, process, and agencies

• Seeks to understand the market trends, competition, customer needs and challenges, Is flexible, adaptable, and makes progress in the face of ambiguity

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage corporate events
  • Manage website content by coordinating content updates with an emphasis on search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Manage AdWords and other paid advertising campaigns
  • Manage existing and identify new lead generation sources
  • Amplify corporate social messages through individual accounts (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook)
  • Plan and execute email marketing campaigns
  • Work with customers and project teams to create case studies and testimonials
  • Write blog posts focused on industry trends/events, news and our clients while driving our internal experts to create technical and educational posts

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience driving, doing, thinking, experiencing, experimenting with marketing technology to businesses and consumers
  • Marketing automation
  • Outstanding communication and writing skills
  • Demonstrable project and agency management experience
  • Social media, blog, tech savvy
  • WordPress a plus
