The Consolidated Court Automation Programs (CCAP) is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Customer Support Technician. The CCAP Customer Support department is responsible for supporting an efficient computing infrastructure throughout the Wisconsin Court System, which includes computers, peripherals, and networking equipment for over 2800 users in 80 remote locations.
LOCATION: Madison, WI with about 25% statewide travel required.
SALARY: Competitive salary with a State of Wisconsin benefits package.
RESPONSIBILITIES: (1) Provides technical phone support to all employees of the Wisconsin Court System (75%); (2) Installs, configures and troubleshoots computer hardware and software in courthouses and other court system offices throughout Wisconsin (20%); (3) Reacts to technical emergencies and takes appropriate action (5%).
QUALIFICATIONS: Required: (1) Experience providing phone-based customer support; (2) Training or experience in computer hardware and software support and maintenance; (3) Experience installing, configuring, upgrading and troubleshooting computers, scanners, printers, and other peripherals; (4) Ability to lift heavy objects; (5) Valid Wisconsin driver’s license; Preferred: Experience supporting (1) Active Directory/group policies; (2) Windows Server; (3) Remote Desktop Services, and (4) Wide Area Networking.
