Algorithmic Software Engineer

If you're as comfortable working on front-end interfaces as you are with talking to databases and building distributed systems then we have plenty of interesting opportunities for you to pursue. These days just about everything needs a database and a front-end to configure, analyze and explore so we have a growing suite of internal libraries and tools we'd love to have you come build and use. Our apps have included geospatial interfaces, custom query engines, procedurally generated graphics, and lots more fun challenges that a motivated web hacker would enjoy.

• Creating web interfaces (not necessarily design) using HTML, CSS, Compojure, Reagent
• Interfacing with a back-end database (Datomic, Riak, Cassandra, Postgres...)
• Building distributed systems with message queues, Onyx
• Continuous deployment and cluster management on AWS
• Learning new technologies to help get the job done in a cleaner, more efficient manner

Must have prior experience as a software engineer.
