The Senior Data Analytics Report Developer II will work with St Jude leadership and Department users to gather the requirements to design, develop, test and deploy reports and strategic and operational dashboards. The team delivers C-level products working closely with executives in key positions of the organization to work on diverse business process areas across the entire organization. Its fast-paced, highly challenging environment provides opportunities to continuously learn and improve their skills. An ideal candidate for this position should have a blend of data analysis, business process analysis and report design skills. This position is exclusively focused on developing dashboards and analytical solutions rather than development of standard operational reports. It is expected to design and develop high quality, impactful dashboards using charts, graphs and other visual techniques. To succeed in this position, the candidate must have the ability to design and develop solutions with minimal requirements and under minimal supervision. A strong focus on the needs of clients, rather than technical solutions, as well as presentation skills are essential for delivering successful products. The Sr. Data Analytics Report Developer II is also responsible for the day-to-day design, development, monitoring, and support of assigned reports and dashboards. (RG) |
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree is required. Management Information Systems or related field is preferred. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) years' experience in a related position or IT area required. Four (4) additional years of data analytics experience building scorecards, dashboards or reports required. Developing highly visible, c-level dashboards and analytical solutions with specific focus on KPIs, charts and graphs is preferred. Experience in business process analysis, including requirements gathering, developing business requirement documents, operating as a liaison between business and IT Experience in Data analysis, working with various analysis techniques including data aggregations, classification, applying statistical methods to help with data based business decision making is preferred. Experience working with Tableau and IBM Cognos preferred A strong background in Mathematics, Statistics and Graphics Arts preferred. Experience with multidimensional data sources is preferred. Demonstrates functional knowledge of multiple database management systems (SQL, Oracle, etc.) preferred. Demonstrates proficient knowledge of star schema and data modeling preferred. Demonstrates expert knowledge using SQL queries to access database products such as Oracle, SQL, DB2, etc. preferred.
