Full Stack Developer

University of Alabama at Birmingham is looking for a web developer skilled in PHP, HTML5, JQuery, CSS3. This position will develop, document, test, and maintain web and mobile applications. The selected candidate will be working for a rapidly growing team of researchers. Looking for a strong team player with a quest to learn.

Annual Salary: Negotiable
International Candidates: H1B Visa available
Relocation: Considered for deserving candidates

Required:

  • 2 years in Software Development
  • Knowledge of PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, HTTP
  • Version control experience, Git is a plus
  • Ability to test and debug software
  • Linux operation system exposure
  • Understands relational database design and systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math or related

Work experience may substitute for education requirement. A list of experience and education substitutions can be found on the UAB Compensation website, if the job allows for such substitutions.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with Frameworks such as jQuery, Zend, Yii, Symfony etc.
  • Experience with Wordpress
  • Experience Mobile app development is a huge plus
