About The Position

REX is seeking a talented, multi-tasking, roll-up-your-sleeves marketer with a growth mindset. This person has excellent communication and management skills to help us take our industry-leading marketing and residential real estate online marketplace to the next level. Customer-obsessed, passionate about the REX brand and offering, and data-driven, this person will create and manage programs that impact our highest level business metrics.

What You Will Be Doing

As a growth marketer you will be building and optimizing programs and community engagements focused on customer acquisition. You will oversee the production and program management of our direct mail, print advertising, social media, email and blogging to drive REX awareness, trust and engagement.

Using data and A/B testing to develop and validate hypotheses, you will shepherd these programs from conception to metrics, iteratively and aggressively learning and improving their ROI to optimize future campaigns. Working with other REX marketers, product, engineering, sales and service, you will ensure coordination between REX’s digital and physical worlds and recommend opportunities to improve our product and sales efforts.

Staying on top of industry and marketing trends, competitive activity, and consumer marketplaces, you will influence the REX team to accelerate our growth.Success will be measured by the delight of our audience, conversions, engagement, new listings and closed home sales.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of managing consumer-focused marketing programs to achieve growth.
  • A growth mindset and approach that is data-driven, ensures learning and is collaborative with product and sales.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing an online and offline community engagement strategy.
  • Experience estimating the impact of marketing programs using a combination of direct and indirect metrics.
  • Skilled at creating plans and budgets and tracking marketing metrics and spend by tactic, product and/or customer group.
  • Experience measuring and improving CAC/LTV and cost/value of key conversions.
  • Strong organization and communication skills; the ability to initiate projects, estimate costs and timelines, drive projects to completion with minimal guidance, execute on implementation, and report on results of changes and new tactics while juggling multiple projects and vendors at once.
  • A proven track record of delivering an impact at a growing technology company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience with creating, producing and executing email campaigns and blog content.
  • Ability to develop and execute social media content, direct mail and print advertising.
  • Some knowledge of advertising using multiple mainstream channels such as radio and TV preferred.
