ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Production Assistant will be responsible for advancing ONE’s brand through storytelling about our campaigns, members, and impact and day-to-day management of video and photo assets. The position requires 1-3 years of video production experience and proven storytelling instincts. The ideal candidate is an attentive, hard-working self-starter who takes direction well and thrives in a fast-paced, quick turnaround work environment. We are seeking someone who is passionate about the role video plays online and who has a point of view about how ONE should be using video and photos to advance our brand and campaign objectives. This is a position reporting to the Creative Associate based in our Washington DC office.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Produce and edit in-house creative products, including but not limited to explainer videos, b-roll packages, short interviews, and motion graphic led campaign videos
• Help manage ONE’s global photo and video asset bank
• Assist with pre and post production for Creative Team projects, including but not limited to logistics, crew coordination, and interview transcriptions
• Film interviews with ONE staff and supporters
• Assist with live production and ONE-sponsored events
• Work with ONE colleagues internationally to ensure our global campaigns are reflective of the cultural/country specific environment
• Research that supports Creative Team concepts and project development
• Collaborate with other teams at ONE to create briefs that will meet their objectives
• Keep on top of relevant innovations in creative campaigns, videos and marketing

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• At least one year of video production experience
• Working knowledge of DSLR camera equipment and audio production
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects
• Experience with video color correction and sound mixing
• Able to tell a captivating story in a variety of formats, from short teasers to longer form videos
• Proven experience with short videos suited for Facebook
• Knowledge of digital video and still formats as well as compression standards
• Highly organized; digital asset management experience a huge plus
• Self-starter who can work independently or support others when necessary
• Strong sense of teamwork and collaboration
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and determine priority projects/assignments
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to think critically and independently
• General interest and dedication to the mission of ONE
