We are looking for a general manager of our Atlanta market who shares our vision and turns it into reality in your city. As the GM, you are YourMechanic's chief executive in your city. You lead and develop the team that revolutionizes and redefines the car repair experience in your city. You own the P&L in your city, which encompass customer and mechanic acquisitions, local operations and service quality. Not for the faint-hearted, this job requires incredible intelligence, talent, and leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage your city’s P&L. have the ultimate responsibility for your city’s growth. You let nothing get in the way of your city’s success.
• Define key goals and milestones. Execute relentlessly on those goals. Recruit and lead the team that will go on to own the car services market in your city.
• Manage mechanic supply and the quality of service.
• Create and continuously improve on the processes to achieve operational excellence and lead your city to success.
• Analyze market performance, provide recommendations, and execute on action plans.
• Build the local brand presence by interfacing with press and local events and acting as YourMechanic’s voice locally.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Track record of 5+ years of experience in a role requiring strong marketing or operational management, or as a successful entrepreneur.
• Strong critical and analytical thinking with a habit of using data to drive decision.
• Proven track record of hiring / managing a team of A players.
• Tenacious: You’re a hustler at heart, are multitalented, and thrive under pressure. Simply put, you have a get-it-done attitude.
• Entrepreneurial/Self-Starter - you can build something out of nothing with minimal oversight
• Wicked smart: No challenge is too complex, no issue is too hard, and “no” is not an acceptable answer.
• MBA from a top academic institution is a plus.
• You do not need to know about car repair or have auto industry experience.
