Key Responsibilities:
• Recruits content for and manages new idea repository.
• Coordinates with cross functional review team to vet ideas/products
• Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
• Recommends the nature and scope of future products and services by reviewing/appraising product ideas.
• Actively identifies and recruits teams of individuals with skillsets needed for research and use-case/product development
• Assesses product market size and customer receptivity data by meeting with customers (with salespeople) and evaluating discussion results.
• Drives overall product development process flow and project teams
• Recommends product pricing by utilizing market research data, customer value estimates and reviewing operational costs and anticipated volumes
• Assembles and presents business models and estimated economic impact for prioritization and planning purposes
• Introduces new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, operations, marketing, legal, and IT and coordinates broader organizational engagement as products move toward launch
• Ensures all required communication is completed in a thorough, professional and timely manner
• Ensures smooth transition to product management
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Participates and coordinates as required with other KAR product development management

Key Performance Indicators
• Deliver new products and services to IAA’s customers
• Develop and maintain and management relationships
• Document and implement a product development process within IAA
• Smoothly and effectively transition new products to IAA’s product management discipline
• Enhance IAA’s EBITDA performance through new products introduced

Educational/Experience and Certification Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in product development
• Proven delivery management excellence
• Working in close partnership with technical teams, operations, sales marketing and other business stakeholders
• Excellent time management and verbal and written communication skills
• Keen interest in working with clients and others to define business solutions that address their business needs and create value
