Mindmaps is looking for an energetic and proactive R&D Engineer to be part of the research team. In this critical and exciting phase of Mindmaps' growth, you will be an integral contributor in forming the future of our company.


At Mindmaps, our work encompasses various fields of advanced computing, including graph databases, graph query languages, graph analytics, knowledge representation, automated reasoning, machine learning, NLP and distributed computing. As an R&D Engineer, you will:
1. Ensure that we are always working at the forefront of the field of graph-based knowledge representation and reasoning, as well graph analytics.
2. Research and actively contribute to the design of Mindmaps Knowledge Representation system and, together with the team, be the leading contributor to the fields of graph-based knowledge representation and graph analytics. This responsibility will include publishing papers and attending conferences.

3. Educate the industry on graphs, knowledge representation andreasoning, semantic technologies and its applications through digital content publishing.

4. Technical writing about our technology for external and internal audience.

5. Rapid prototyping of the technology.


As an R&D Engineer, you will have shown excellence in the following:
1. PhD from a globally recognised university in a field related to Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, Network Theory, Complex Systems, Graph Theory or Artificial General Intelligence.

2. Publications in globally recognised academic journals/conferences.
3. Prototype development for the demonstration of research findings.
4. Algorithmic coding skills - able to solve complex mathematical and computational coding problems.
5. Communication skills - able to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.


Desirable skills:
1. Commercial R&D experience.
2. Worked in SDLC frameworks (ideally Agile).
3. Java OOP development.
4. Systems architecture design.
