RetailNext is looking for an ALL STAR! Sales Development Representative to join our Sales Team. The Sales Development Representative will work cooperatively with outside sales and other members of the distribution team to grow existing customers, create new customers and meet or exceed monthly sales quotas at the appropriate gross margin while increasing customer satisfaction. The right candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to be coached and understand how to implement feedback. This candidate will also be a self- starter who is proactive in driving revenue, increasing the client base, and evangelizing the value of the RetailNext platform. This position is located in our headquarters in San Jose, CA.
Responsibilities
- Making a high volume of outbound calls to both warm and cold prospects.
- Ability to articulate RetailNext’s premium services to drive interest in furthering the sales conversation.
- Consistently achieving and exceeding monthly goals
- Knowing how to get around objections. You are astute at finding ways to get your prospects to say "YES!"
- Having a self-awareness that leads you to be open to feedback and dedicated to self-improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience with CRM a plus (Salesforce preferred)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated success in achieving goals
- Exhibit the ability to hit and exceed daily activity metrics as well think outside the box as to new avenues to account penetration
- Must be a creative solutions thinker who can drive sales success
- Must be detail oriented and flexible
- An entrepreneurial spirit with a can-do positive attitude
- Ability to adapt on the fly to new challenges
