(Technical) Product Manager

Position Overview

Own and define your vision for the software deployment of SiteSpect products and solutions.

You will help make the product easy for our client’s IT and network professionals to setup, configure, monitor and support with little to no involvement from SiteSpect’s internal teams. By working with our platform operations and solutions architecture teams, you will determine features to add to easily integrate our software into private cloud and third party web services platforms like AWS.

Responsibilities

• Product Vision - Own the product vision and develop a roadmap for software deployment
• Product Requirements - Gather and prioritize product requirements to reach your product vision
• Platform Market Knowledge – Be an expert in the market for SAAS deployment (SiteSpect’s Cloud, AWS, SoftLayer, private cloud, etc.)
• Customer Advocate – work with clients and their IT professionals to understand pain points and develop solutions for the setup, configuration, and ongoing support of all SiteSpect products.

Requirements

• 3+ years of product management or Sales Engineering for IT software products or 3+ years in development operations managerial role
• Domain Knowledge of IT software, network operations, and monitoring
• Experience with virtualized software, AWS, or other cloud platforms
• Ability to work with clients and lead cross functional teams
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s in computer science or related field, MBA a plus

This is a full time position located in our office in downtown Boston, MA.
