Are You Our Candidate?
Kinetiq is looking for a Senior Developer who is at the top of their game, but always looking to take their skill set one step forward. They will welcome the opportunity to provide high quality, cost effective information technology solutions to business partners. This will be accomplished by creating new or modifying and/or supporting existing software applications including both internal and external customer facing applications. They will create complex application programs from detailed specifications. Key involvement in full software development life cycle including planning, coding, support during testing and release and retirement will be an integral part of this position. In addition this position will be responsible for the version and release for all code using MS Team Foundation Server as well as assisting in the definition of coding standards utilizing industry best practices. The ability to effectively define problems, assemble and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and make recommendations will be essential. Our top candidate will utilize their strong forward thinking skills to develop new and innovative solutions. As a natural leader they can effectively influence other’s to get results. Our candidate of choice will have a BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent accredited four year degree program and/or equivalent industry specific work experience. In addition we require the following:
- 7+ years of software development experience, in an enterprise application development environment using C#, Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), and multi-threaded applications
- 5+ years of external facing web application development experience
Demonstrated application development capabilities in the following technologies and environments will be required:
- Software application technologies (Node.js, MongoDB, Visual Studio, MS SQL 2008+)
- HTML, CSS 3 frameworks (such as LESS), jQuery and JavaScript frameworks (such as Backbone, Angular, and Knockout)
- Windows and Web Services, REST
- Knowledge of Unit Testing frameworks and TDD
- Experience with TFS
- SSRS and SSIS knowledge is preferred
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) foundations and enterprise patterns
- Strong experience designing and working with multi-tiered architectures
- Software design experience, including third party package integration
- Experience building high performance, high availability online systems
- Document Management and Workflow experience preferred
