We are currently searching for a Software Engineering Manager who brings their passion for development with them to work every day and shares that passion with others. Our top candidate will be able to effectively and efficiently deliver software solutions to the marketplace. Your expertise in software development practices, processes and tools will be critical in ensuring guaranteed quality products. As the Software Engineering Manager you will provide forward-thinking vision and tactical recommendations to lead your team of Developers to achieve results which are aligned with the larger picture of the organization and its strategic goals. A leadership style that is firm and goal oriented, and yet motivates, trains, grows and engages others in an enthusiastic way is important. The creation of a team culture focused on our customer, leveraging a foundation of collaboration and innovation is imperative. Initiative, coupled with a sense of competitive drive, and the ability to stay focused on results despite ambiguity and/or changing conditions, is the key to achieving the performance objectives of this job. While the job requires the ability to act independently, and with a sense of urgency, a full commitment to the success of the business and high standards of achievement are expected in this position.

Our top candidate will have a Bachelor’s of Science or a related field. A Master’s of Science in Computer Science or a related degree is preferred. Your degree will be complimented by the following:

• 5+ years building and managing software development teams to include 2+ years managing agile teams.
• 5+ years hands-on software design and development.
• Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills (C#, Java and/or Typescript preferred).
• Demonstrated application and software architecture skills.
• Experience with distributed (multi-tiered and cloud) software solutions and relational and non-relational database technology.
• Knowledge of SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) design and implementation over different operating systems and languages
• Skills and knowledge in a wide range of technologies, including MEAN stack, NoSQL, ASP.MVC, C#, SQL Server, SharePoint, HTML, JSON/CSS, XML, and REST Web Services
• Visual Studio, Webstorm, Jenkins, Team Foundation Server, GitHub
• Document Management Systems
• CRM Systems
• Javascript, Node, Backbone, Angular
• SSIS, SSRS
