The Analytics team focuses on using data to help our business and customers thrive. Reporting to the Analytics Manager, the Product Analyst will deliver insights to grow our business and benefit our customers and users; help develop scalable analytics infrastructure; and automate manual processes to empower our Product, Sales, Marketing, Success, and Support teams. You will get exposure to the whole business and play an active role in influencing product decisions and measuring company objectives. You will work with stakeholders across the company to help them harness the power of data.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Product and Executive leadership to build end-to-end reporting solutions and dashboards
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure that we are collecting the data we need to track new launches and existing product performance
  • Scope and execute research projects using internal or external data to generate insights to drive customer success, improve our products, and grow our business
  • Troubleshoot data inconsistencies efficiently and provide recommendations for improving overall data quality
  • Perform ad hoc investigations to answer complex business questions using our Amazon Redshift data warehouse

Requirements:

  • STEM degree from a four year institution (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, drive change, and collaborate effectively with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with experience solving ambiguous problems using data and providing practical business insights
  • SQL expertise and a basic understanding of data warehousing principles; proficiency with statistical methods and tools, such as: R, SAS, or STATA preferred
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, communication, and prioritization skills
  • Passion for generating insights or creating order in a chaotic environment

Preferred:

  • Proficiency with statistical methods and tools, such as: R, SAS, or STATA
  • Experience designing and building datasets using SQL-based ETL Tools
  • Experience with deriving insights from mobile or web event data
