Mystery Tackle Box is the leading discovery platform for the nation’s $45 billion sport fishing industry. We are looking for an experienced Digital Product Manager to join our fast-growing team.
Mystery Tackle Box is changing the way America's 45 million+ anglers shop for fishing gear. Having already created a number of industry-changing innovations, we are looking for a product manager to join our team and help streamline our product development process.
We are looking to hire our first Product Manager to help streamline and improve our product development and build a strong product team around.
Job responsibilities
The product manager will work very closely with the CEO, CTO and VP of Marketing to help execute the product vision, gather user requirements, develop and manage the product road map and create a go-to market strategy. You will be the glue between the business, marketing, and technical teams.
As a digital product manager you will…
- Create and maintain product requirements and documentation to inform the product lifecycle from idea through release and maintenance.
- Develop and drive the MTB’s product roadmap, driving critical capabilities from concept to customer.
- Engage with customers and partners to deliver roadmap updates, get product feedback, feed that information back into technology development process, and continuously identify next set of opportunities working closely with the internal and external clients.
- Identify and execute opportunites for conversion rate wins
- Recruit, hire, and manage and train other product team members.
- Identify new product opportunities and improvements for both consumer-facing properties and company back-end tools.
Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years in a product management role.
- Experience in ecommerce and mobile is a major plus.
- Strong understanding of the development process and Agile methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage different personality types and juggle different projects.
- Strong background in user-experience design and research.
- Understanding of marketing automation and CRM tools.
- Understanding of Conversion Rate Optimization (best practices)
- Experience in lead-gen and/or ecommerce is a major plus!
