The Role:

We’ve scaled fast and this Senior engineering role is a critical addition to our development team. Alongside talented engineers you will work up and down our stack shipping code at a rapid pace. This is a unique opportunity not only to build highly scalable systems, but to work on a platform that brings together big data, advanced electronics, and the power of the cloud computing.

Meaningful Things You’ll Do:

• Design and deliver applications and services that will be the cornerstone of our public launch.
• Collaborate with experts across data science, computer vision, and software engineering.
• Help drive the next evolution of our platform while building a strong engineering culture.

Your Talents:

• 3+ years experience building systems in Python, Django, or Flask.
• A Strong desire to write elegant code and tackle difficult problems.
• Experience delivering scalable service based architectures.
• Strong background in relational database technologies, Postgres is preferred.
• A passion for automation and test driven development.
• The desire to innovate across our entire software and hardware stack.

Bonus points for:

• Experience with Cassandra or another NoSQL database.
• Expertise developing in Javascript with AngularJS.
• Working in large scale AWS environments.
• Background with container technologies such as Docker or LXC.
