Located in northern New Mexico, Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is a multidisciplinary research institution engaged in strategic science on behalf of national security. LANL enhances national security by ensuring the safety and reliability of the U.S. nuclear stockpile, developing technologies to reduce threats from weapons of mass destruction, and solving problems related to energy, environment, infrastructure, health, and global security concerns.
This position will be filled at either an Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator 3 or 4, depending on the skills of the selected candidate. Additional job responsibilities (outlined below) will be assigned if the candidate is hired at the higher level.
The selected candidate will be a part of the SAE-1's Oracle Middleware team as an Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator. This position will support many applications, perform patching and upgrades and other Middleware Administrator functions such as needed.
Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator 3 ($84,300 - $139,000)
This position is for the fully qualified, career-oriented, professional specializing in the field of IT, who also has a working knowledge of other related IT fields.
The selected candidate will be able to:
- Install and configure all modules of the Oracle Middleware Identity Management (IAM) stack, including OIM, OID, OVD, OAM, SOA and Webgates
- Apply Oracle patch sets to various Middleware Components such as: AccessGate, Apache, Apache-OHS, Apex, Java, Tomcat and WebGate
- Design and implement customizations to various Oracle stacks
- Recommend, develop and enforce policies and procedures for maintaining the security of all applications
- Interact with various teams to determine requirements, design and deliver solutions and support production systems
- Daily production support of OIM/OAM and various other systems and services
- Provide production support and troubleshoot issues related to the Oracle IAM suite
- Provide 24x7 on call support as part of a scheduled rotation with other team members
Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator 4 ($92,600 - $154,600)
In addition to the above duties, the selected candidate must:
- Provide development, implementation, support and technical leadership of Identity and Access Management Services
- Provide project leadership and expertise in the Oracle Identity and Access Management Suite (OIM, OVD, OID, OAM)
- May provide guidance and mentoring to less-experience Oracle Middleware Administrators
Positions at both levels require a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science or related field or the work experience equivalent.
Minimum Job Requirements for Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator 3:
- Minimum of 7 years of related IT experience
- Expertise in Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) development and integration
- Expertise with SOA, WebLogic, Tomcat, and Apache
Proficiency with: - Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD)
- Oracle Internet Directory (OID)
- Oracle Identity Manager (OIM)
- Oracle Access Manager (OAM)
- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing solutions/options
- Experience running OAM in a WebLogic Cluster
- Experience with LDAP directories
- Some experience with Linux, SQL and Oracle Databases
- Experience with Web Services including Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Some experience of SQL and database administration
- Working knowledge of UNIX shell scripting including vi and file management commands
Minimum Job Requirements for Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator 4 (in addition to the above): - Demonstrated experience of providing technical leadership
- Demonstrated experience of providing project leadership
- Demonstrated experience guiding and mentoring less-experienced Middleware Administrators
