We are recruiting for an Application Developer at our Home Office in San Antonio, TX.
Application Developers are engaged in all phases of the software development lifecycle which include; gathering and analyzing user/business system requirements, responding to outages and creating application system models. The primary functions are to design, develop, document, test and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications on the Salesforce.com platform (analysis, design, code). In addition, application developers participate in design meetings and consult with business users to refine, test, and debug programs to meet business requirements. Developers effectively evaluate and analyze situations or problems and are expected to exercise judgment in the selection of methodologies, techniques, and evaluation criteria for achieving objectives and results.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the design, development, integration, and deployment of software applications on the Salesforce.com platform
Leverage current experience with object-oriented programming languages to develop, build, or maintain existing Salesforce.com custom applications and integrations
Document and track source code versions using GIT
Performs other related duties as required and assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree or three (3) to five (5) years of equivalent work experience
BACKGROUND & EXPERTISE:
Three (3) to five (5) years in developing applications using object oriented programming language
APPLICABLE EXPERIENCE:
Practice in Agile project management, Java, C#, Python
COMPUTER LITERACY:
Advanced/Expert Computer skills
