Full Harvest is a high-growth, VC-backed AgTech startup solving food waste (Forbes’ Top 25 Innovative AgTech Startups). We are the first B2B marketplace connecting farms with food & beverage businesses to sell ugly and surplus produce that would have otherwise gone to waste.

The Recruiting Lead is responsible for finding our most valuable asset: our people. We’re building a team that will shape the future of agriculture. We are growing fast and need someone to help scale our team with our values and culture in mind. If you want to be our first in-house recruiter to help grow a passionate team dedicated to innovation, collaborative work, and keeping an incredibly high bar, then we’re the place for you!

Our headquarters are in downtown San Francisco.

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

  • A passion for the Full Harvest vision and a desire to leave a positive impact on the planet

  • 5+ years of in-house recruiting experience where you have owned the full cycle

  • Experience working at fast growing start-ups

  • Stellar skills recruiting for tech and non-tech roles

  • Practical knowledge building recruiting processes and procedures to rapidly scale a company, while maintaining the culture

  • Experience working with / managing outsourced 3rd party recruiters

  • An understanding how to actively hunt and source top candidates

  • Success sourcing via various job boards including but not limited to: LinkedIn, Indeed, StackOverflow, GitHub, and AngelList

  • A Self-starter personality with strong problem solving skills

You Will:

  • Quickly jump in and help us scale up our team with recent fundraise

  • Own the full cycle recruiting process, from sourcing to onboarding to ensuring a constant pipeline

  • Create and provide a flawlessly positive interview and onboarding experience

  • Innovate on ways to attract and engage top talent in creative, targeted, and meaningful ways for technical, non-technical and executive positions

  • Ensure that our job descriptions are compelling and are reaching the right people, leveraging the best job boards and communication channels

  • Attract the right people for Full Harvest’s culture

  • Set up and manage an ATS system

  • Craft case-studies, technical assessments, and behavioral interview questions

  • Stay current on hiring strategies and competitive industry salaries

  • Strive to build a diverse team that maximizes fit with needed skills / experience

  • Know  where to find the best people; attend industry networking events keeping a rolodex of potential hires
