JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for determining end user requirements needed for custom applications, designing and developing components, designing and developing reports, providing application support, testing and documenting software, and training end users on software.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1.     Determine end user requirements needed for custom application; translate requirements into technical specifications, architect and code.  

2.     Design and develop database and application components according to project specifications.  

3.     Design and develop reports, cubes, and extract, transfer and load routines.  

4.     Provide support for existing custom applications.  

5.     Test and document software; train end users on software.  

6.     Perform related responsibilities as required or assigned.

Knowledge and Skill  

  •   Knowledge of Microsoft SQL server 2008/2012/2016, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS.
  •   Knowledge of .Net Framework, ASP.net, C#.net, VB.net WCF, XML, Telerik, Visual Studio.
  •   Proficient T-SQL and SQL query skills.
  •   Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  •   Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  •   Strong project management skills.
  •   Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

 • A minimum of five years of related experience. 

 • Prior experience in the oil and gas industry preferred.
