loots builds platforms and applications that help live streamers on Twitch, YouTube Gaming or Facebook Live to attract huge audiences and make a living from streaming their favorite games.
 
loots provides the top tier monetization infrastructure for live broadcasters in more than 50 countries. Companies like Nintendo, Electronic Arts, Activision, Ubisoft and Riot Games rely on lootsto tackle the complexities of working closely with a new generation of live influencers.

The demand for new ways to support live streamers is high: the total number of live streamers grows significantly month-over-month and loots is rapidly growing across all significant metrics. We see phenomenal momentum with tens of thousands of live broadcasters already on the platform and millions of viewers watching them.

Now we build the next big thing in live streaming and we want amazing people like you to join our team and help accomplishing a visionary goal.

Currently we are a fun group of 15 people from 7 nations with offices in Berlin (Mitte) and Los Angeles.


About the Role

• You develop features and applications in Node.js environments, think in terms of components and micro-services
• You transcend the boundaries of Frontend and Backend, crafting and delivering performant, maintainable, and scalable features and services
• You collaborate with developers, designers and product owners to build a best-in-class experience for live streamers
• You participate in architecture decisions and creative feature development tasks

Your Profile

• You can demonstrate expertise in JavaScript application development and understand the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
• You have deep understanding of building and maintaining scalable Node.js modules and applications (Express, RabbitMQ)
• You have significant experience with the integration of multiple data sources and databases (MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch)
• You have significant experience in templating languages/libraries (EJS, Vue.js)
• You have deep understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors (Less)
• You have deep understanding of code versioning using Git
• You have excellent English interpersonal skills, both verbal and written (German is not required)
