This job is located in Vancouver or Victoria BC. Remote candidates within +/- 3 hours of the PST timezone are welcome to apply.

MetaLab is growing our talented team of iOS Developers. You will work with a team of designers and developers to build world-class products for our clients. The ideal candidate can pick up on new skills quickly, and is comfortable in a fast paced environment.

 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • You have 5+ years experience
  • You're design obsessed and understand how to bring a design to life without loss in fidelity
  • You have shipped apps to the App Store
  • You're a self starter, very organized, and possess top notch communication skills
  • You're able to work in an environment with ever changing priorities (adaptable)
  • Agency experience is a plus
  • Team lead experience is a plus

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Git & GitHub
  • CI/CD
  • ObjectiveC & Swift
  • Cocoapods
  • Fastlane experience is a plus
  • Experience with other ways of architecting iOS apps (beyond MVC)
  • Experience with offline storage solutions
  • Threading (GCD)
  • Tuning app performance (animation frame rate, battery life, network communication)
