Megastar Is redefining how talent is discovered and how tribes are formed around them.  We’re looking for a Front End Web Developer who is a creative designer who can implement and develop our mobile apps & web interface.   Our team is small, well-funded and conveniently located near Bart in Downtown Oakland.  This is a unique opportunity to come and help us accelerate our growth further! 

Front End Web Developer

Responsibilities:

  • Develop mobile applications using React and React Native
  • Develop web applications using React
  • Quickly iterate on user interfaces based on user data, testing, or other sources
  • Routine daily maintenance of existing sites and applications
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of website development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, & CSS
  • Experience consuming RESTful APIs and Microservices
  • Expert with cross-platform and multi-browser issues
  • Experience with product development life cycles
  • Must be comfortable working in a cross-discipline environment
  • Very detailed oriented
  • Experience with React or a similar library/framework
  • Experience TypeScript
  • Experience with SASS
  • Experience with Node Electron
  • Experience in developing apps on IOS & Android with React Native
  • Understanding of User Interface and User Experience preferred
  • Knows how to use Sketch or other similar design tools

A nice plus:

  • Experience with Redux and/or RxJS
