Product Marketing Manager

Megastar Is redefining how talent is discovered and how tribes are formed around them.  We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to drive the branding of our products and create innovative growth strategies capitalizing on the offerings of these products.  Our team is small, well-funded and conveniently located near Bart in Downtown Oakland.  This is a unique opportunity to come and help us accelerate our growth further! 

Product Marketing Manager

Responsibilities:

• Define/lead the execution of product branding, based on product offerings
• Develop and execute on an innovative growth strategy that executes on branding and product offerings
• Develop and execute on a PR strategy that promotes growth and product offering
• Work with product development team on product offering to evaluate market potential
• Negotiate contracts with vendors or distributors to manage profitable course for all products
• Lead marketing team to generate strong momentum ahead of new product launches
• Define/lead site strategies for optimal U/A
• Understand and manage by core KPIs/key metrics to measure the success of all digital events and field marketing activities
• Ensure products are delivered on brand strategy

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in Marketing or related field
• Minimum of 5+ years in Product Marketing
• Small company/start up experience
• Experience launching new consumer products in mobile/social
• Must have strong analytics background
• Creative out of the box thinking
• Ability to create strong marketing strategies and execute tactical plans
• Strong project management and cross-departmental communication skills
• Positive and collaborative attitude
• Experience working with Social media influencers

A nice plus:

• Experience working with entertainment products (especially music)
