We are currently hiring a Java Developer for an international consulting company, this opportunity is located in Jersey City, NJ. Our client enables customers to reimagine their digital future by applying a unique formula of integrated cloud and cognitive technology. They apply advancements in cognitive and cloud to traditional Application and Infrastructure Services to bring much needed efficiency and cost effectiveness.

In this role you will work in a multicultural, people oriented enterprise with a global presence of more than 21,000 employees. You will have the opportunity to work on technology projects across many sectors such as Banking & Capital Markets, Insurance, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy and many more.

As a member of our Software Engineering Group you will dive head-first into web and application development for the financial sector. Projects will be related to banking, banking automation, credit/debit card and automation testing. 

Skills Desired: J2EE (Core Java & Spring), Spring-Boot, Angular, JavaScript, CSS, HTML

  • Experience in Java Spring boot
  • Experience in Angular JavaScript, CSS, HTML,
  • Should be well versed & experienced with J2EE design patterns
  • Should have worked with different databases
  • JavaScript frameworks/libraries (React.js, Ember.js, Backbone.js, Angular.js, etc.)
  • Microservices
  • Node.js or another modern server side language
  • Building and maintaining RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with Agile
