Software Architect

Position Description:
We are looking for a bright, devoted and experienced software architect to join our team in the Netherlands. This person will be the architect for new and existing applications (Java, C++, PHP). This position requires a strong team player that thrives in a international and innovative environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review technical requirements and specifications
  • Investigate and develop proof-of-concepts (hand's-on)
  • Make high-level design choices
  • Review data-model and architectural designs
  • Defines technical standards
  • Review code quality and technical implementations
  • Cooperate with development teams in the United States, Belarus and Ukraine


Qualifications:

  • 8+ years' experience as developer
  • 3+ years of experience as software architect
  • Experienced in Java and C++
  • Experienced with Linux and Windows
  • Experienced with cloud providers like AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Understanding of Scrum principles and process
  • A passion for creating elegant software products
  • Self-motivated, energetic and open to learn new technologies
  • Proficient English communication skills. Russian is considered a plus
  • A BSc / MSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar field
