Job description:

Looking for STRONG Node.js dev with angular 2+ experience to help transform the medical transportation business. Work with a team solving complex business and coding problems that include; process flow, route optimization, HIPAA, medical insurance billing, and system integrations to bring the complete transportation solution to our customers.

• As a...we don’t like titles, but use this as a point of reference...Senior Software Engineer/Architect, you will be responsible for the development of our systems, participating in every aspect of the release and maintenance cycles.

• Work in an Agile/Scrum/Lean/[Insert Buzzword] environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules.

• We aren’t married to any technologies or too entrenched to them to entertain good ideas.  You have the ability to influence software design and architecture.  The “C” levels do not need to be the smartest people in the room, just hear the best ideas.

• We have been developing at a rapid pace with minimal resources.  It’s time to prepare for the next phase of growth.  Help define, champion, and implement policies to significantly increase the efficiency of our development process.

• We are an operating startup with real, large/publicly traded clients and partners.  Let’s keep them happy while moving fast forward.  Develop innovative ways to monitor system performance and usage while enabling easy troubleshooting and problem resolution.

What you need to SUCCEED:

• 7+ years of experience developing highly-scalable consumer or business applications in a production environment using some of the following technologies:

• JavaScript (ES6), Angular 2+, Node.js

• Java, Spring

• python is cool too

• MongoDB, relational databases, redis

• RESTful API design and development

• Experience with cloud-based solutions

• ECS, Docker, Linux/UNIX, CI/CD Tools

• Excellent problem solving, creative thinking and self-motivation skills

• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people

• Associates or B.S Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience required
