Within a passionate team, you will work for a mixed portfolio of A-brands such as Renault, HEMA, ING and Rabobank. We work on diverse projects such as (mobile) websites, web apps and dashboards. Our office is situated in a monumentual building next to the lively ‘Witte de Withstraat’, in the heart of Rotterdam. The vacancy is a fulltime position for 40 hours a week.


Your profile
&beyond is currently looking for a talented fullstack web developer with a specialisation in back-end development along with languages such as PHP, MySQL and frameworks like Zend (2) and Symfony (2&3). You are at your best when challenged in developing dynamic websites and web apps. Using frameworks, libraries, OOP and MVC is your second nature and therefore, you do this in an inventive, accurate and structured way.

Since you are the last step in the development process, all the code you deliver is carefully tested and you ensure everything is working properly, even into the smallest detail. You are independent and a born perfectionist. Besides that, you are always up to date with the latest online trends and developments, and you are eager to explore and discover the secrets of any (online) tool. You will be working on PHP, Symfony2/3, MySQL, HTML5 / javascript (jQuery, backbone.js) and APIs.

Because you’re an experienced team player with a good sense of priority you have no problem with delivering a project within time and budget constraints. You have been working for at least 3 years as a web developer and you have proven experience in developing (online) projects.

• Knowledge of the possibilities and limitations of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
