Your vision and leadership, driven by your experience in .NET solution stacks, will help to drive the success of the organization.

Being part of the IT Solutions team, we are counting on you to bring your knowledge of modern development best practices to build a small, but effective and successful development team. This position is unique as it provides an opportunity to build a team and environment from the ground up based on your knowledge of the latest tools, skills, best practices and methodologies. With an entrepreneurial mindset, you would own the team with the idea to develop and do great things. You would also need to be a true team player and an effective communicator with a thirst for mentoring other more junior team members. Experience using modern development practices (such as agile) is important so that the team can be built using these principles. The ability to interface with stakeholders from requirements discussions through integration is key. We are a small team and our successes come from good work in the early stages of a project to define requirements and set expectations for the solution.

This role offers challenges across a wide variety of projects and responsibilities. You would be expected to evaluate emerging technologies and drive the evolution of current technologies. You should be comfortable keeping the wheels turning on legacy applications, while using the latest and greatest tools and techniques for new development. This is an exciting, new role for someone to positively impact our business, our members and the many women that they serve in a friendly environment with good work-life balance.

  • Perform all functions across the entire development cycle (detailed analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support) with the primary focus on analysis, design, and development
  • Consult with Lead Software Engineer and key stakeholders at all levels of the organization to discuss business requirements and potential solutions
  • Act as a team member in a small development group
