ABOUT YOU:

The Sales Associate, US Broadcast and Telecom will be responsible for developing new customers and driving sales leads for Haivision in the Broadcast and Telecom markets. This position was recently created to accommodate the significant growth we have experienced in the market over the last few years. Haivision has been successful in the Broadcast market for many years but new technology has accelerated our position in the industry. This position’s goal is to increase sales by working closely with the clients to ensure a successful sales process.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Grow existing accounts, obtain orders and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly work plans.
  • Schedule meetings and conference calls with the customer to discuss their needs, do product presentations and be the customer advocate within the company.
  • Work with Salesforce.com to manage opportunities, quarterly forecasts and yearly funnel.
  • Management of Quarterly Quota’s.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time throughout USA/Canada.

Professional and Personal Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of similar sales experience.
  • Proven track record with demonstrated success as a sales professional.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment and a challenging workload.
  • Autonomous worker who understands the industry and can drive sales.
  • Responsiveness to customer requirements.
  • The ability to leverage and coordinate available resources to provide customer satisfaction.
