The Sales Director – US West is responsible for managing and guiding the commercial business with resellers and end users in the Western region of North America. The role will focus on our enterprise solutions for the commercial market. Haivision has been successful in the commercial market for many years but new technology has accelerated our position in the industry. The focus of this role is to increase sales by and through the reseller channel while also working closely with the clients to ensure a successful sales process. Candidates located in San Francisco, CA, Denver, CO, Dallas, TX, or Chicago, IL, are welcome to apply.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Ability to call on and work with Professional AV & IT Integrators/Resellers to resell Haivision products.
  • Ability to consultatively sell end users on Haivision products.
  • Collaborate with client and Integrators/Resellers to develop designs and implement regionally focused business plans.
  • Work closely with sales engineering and inside sales members to present Haivision products to end users, consultants, integrators and resellers.
  • Project management activities when required.
  • Consult with senior management in setting up objectives, goals and a plan of action.
  • Develop, establish and maintain good working relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Participate in internal and client-facing meetings, prepare reports and presentations.
  • Produce monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.
  • Perform additional related duties as required:
    • Participate in meetings, as necessary.
    • Execute additional tasks upon request.
  • 50% Travel required.

 

Professional and Personal Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience selling through reseller channels.
  • Strong communication skills and presentation skills with the ability to articulate the advantages of Haivision products to business and technical decision makers, as well as senior executives.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Super organizational skills.
  • 'Whatever it takes' attitude and motivation to do whatever necessary to assist in closing a deal.
  • A level of comfort with IP technologies and streaming.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
