Our marketplace connects thousands or shippers and carriers and as we’re rapidly scaling up

operations we need help expanding our growth engine. In the growth engine, business ideas turn into software and get iteratively refined to maximise the value of every contact we have with our customers. We’ve built a sales platform in React, Node.js and PostgreSQL where we instantaneously match shipper and carriers, and provide our sales agents with insights on where to focus their attention.

The role:

We are looking for a talented Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer with a passion for data science and growth hacking. The right candidate for this position will have have excellent communication skills and be motivated to produce results in a dynamic and often hectic environment.

Our ideal candidate has:

• Experience across the full stack using Node.JS, Postgres, Redis, and React.JS .

• Developed logistics tracking, marketplace matching, user recommendation and/or pricing algorithms Implemented dashboards (we use Klipfolio at the moment) to provide up to date insights into operational status

• Leveraged growing complex dataset to identify marketplace growth opportunities and built tools required to exploit them.

• Strong communication skills.

• Action-orientation - focus on getting functionality built incrementally, quickly, with “good-enough” intuitive UI  and with good test coverage

You will:

The candidate will be responsible for designing and building version 2 of our Sales Portal that directs and harnesses the energies of our outbound telesales team. You will extend and integrate our proprietary matching algorithm into our real-time carrier notification system. Beyond these initial goals, there’ll be lots of opportunities to grow, either through mentoring, coaching and managing teams, or by providing technical leadership and guidance.
