Our tools help software developers use open-source safely by analyzing the libraries they use as part of the continuous delivery pipeline. With every build, teams get information about what libraries can be updated and which ones have vulnerabilities. Better still we integrate into the CI/CD and pull request workflow and make keeping libraries up-to-date a breeze.

The Role:

As an integral part of the sales team, the sales engineer will help qualify and close opportunities with customers. The sales engineer will be the primary technical resource for the sales team and is responsible for actively driving the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. This individual will provide technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and supporting technical evaluations. You’ll work with customers to define requirements and address technical questions that arise throughout the sales process.


Our Ideal Candidate Has:

  • 5+ years of customer/account management experience

  • Familiarity with Developer tools, including CI and CD pipelines

  • Strong technical knowledge with the ability to create materials and presentations using a variety of tools.  

  • Passion for learning new and modern technologies

  • Demonstrably superb verbal communications skills, including a dynamic presentation style that exudes confidence

  • Strong perspective rooted in past experience, paired with willingness to listen carefully, explore new ideas, and coach

  • Manage time effectively, with the ability to multi-task across various sales cycles

  • Experience with the security and compliance industry a plus

You Will (Responsibilities):

  • Engage with customers to understand their requirements and communicate the technical value of SourceClear

  • Work with the sales team to create technical proposals and presentations for customer meetings

  • Stay up-to-date on changes and developments in security and compliance

  • Distill and communicate customer needs and product feedback to Sales, Engineering and Product teams

  • Collaborate with the product team to help prioritize features based on customer input

  • Initiate and manage multiple proofs of concepts, working directly with the prospect to deliver upon their success criteria
