Finexio is the smart B2B payments network.    We’re on a mission to simplify the commercial payments process by eliminating manual processes and paper checks sent from accounts payable.  Our customers are software platforms and corporations looking to deploy next gen payments tools to enable b2b payments.

We deploy a “network of networks” commercial payments gateway integrated directly with many merchant processors, payment intermediaries, software platforms, and financial institutions to directly pass payment data and information to ease commercial payment settlement.

 

 

The Role:

We are seeking a B2B marketing expert to help fill our sales pipeline with highly targeted leads by developing & executing multi-touch marketing programs. This individual will be responsible for building cohesive marketing strategies including effective digital marketing campaigns, direct mail, email marketing, webinars, conferences, & more.   The ideal mix for this position is 65% Lead Gen/ 25% Product Marketing/ 10% Creative.

 

The Director of B2B Marketing is responsible for creating and executing a strategy to identify, attract, engage and ultimately convert business prospects through a variety of means. The primary focus is Middle Market Businesses.  In addition, the Director will be responsible for establishing the long term vision of our B2B Lead Generation and Marketing strategy, building the roadmap to achieve the vision, and designing and delivering the proof points to support continued investment and inform strategy evolution.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create a B2B focused marketing strategy that delivers repeatable, sustainable and predictable marketing-generated revenue. This will include but not be limited to:
    • Generating and expanding the universe of high quality leads through existing and new sources
    • Developing highly effective lead segmentation strategies
    • Creating and grow a multi touch point digital lead process
    • Developing compelling digital creative assets
  • Produce original content such as client pitch decks, email messaging, industry reports, sell sheets, brochures, website content, and client case studies
  • Own Finexio’s website as a primary external and internal vehicle for driving general industry traffic, engaging customers, disseminating news and conveying Finexio’s mission and purpose
  • Collect customer insights and competitive intelligence and incorporate into marketing plans
  • Generate qualified leads from our website and Linkedin
  • Generating target volume and quality of marketing-qualified leads
  • Manage a personalized B2B email communication plan and digital content creation, including emails, newsletters and explanatory materials
  • Produce for B2B customers Finexio case studies and reports that position Finexio as the authority on B2B payments
  • Oversee strategic planning and creative content development for relevant B2B payments industry events, trade shows and conferences
  • Establish a close, trust based, working partnership with inside and outside sales team to drive the performance of the dedicated inbound/ outbound tele-based sales team
  • Set the strategy on how to best leverage Lead Management and Marketing Automation tools
  • Leverage marketing automation tools to manage database nurturing and scoring programs to engage with prospects with the goal of providing sales team with more qualified leads
  • Establish strong reporting and robust campaign metric analytics that generate insights to continually optimize campaigns

 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of digital B2B marketing experience; 7-10 years total marketing experience
  • 3+ years of proven experience creating, executing, & optimizing effective lead acquisition campaigns
  • An eye for high-quality design, consistency and creativity
  • Experience building engagement across various media channels, with specific background in executing effective and personalized email campaigns required
  • Demonstrated success delivering multi-channel campaigns with a deep understanding of the sales pipeline, conversion funnel, and the role of marketing at each stage of the funnel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience developing and executing B2B facing campaigns and collateral from presentation decks to whitepapers, webinars and video content
  • Experience leveraging content marketing strategies and developing strategic editorial content to move audiences through the marketing funnel from acquisition to consideration to conversion
  • Deep digital expertise required – knowledge of digital technology and experience with performance marketing platforms: e.g. Linkedin/Twitter advertising (SEM/AdWords a plus) a plus
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing, demand generation, marketing automation and CRM
  • Experience in creating and executing data-driven digital marketing strategy
  • Experience developing content based strategies is a plus
  • Results oriented with a history of exceeding goals in a fast paced environment
  • Capable of operating independently and in an organized fashion to achieve targets and meet deadlines while keeping stakeholders informed
  • Experience with high quality forecasting and analysis
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Undergrad degree; MBA preferred
