Head of Social

We’re looking for a rock-star Head of Social to come onboard and own the incredibly large and passionate social community we have, which is 15M and growing. This person will be tasked with developing the voice of our brand and the strategies for how we communicate with our audience on a daily basis. He/she has their finger on the pulse of what is being done in the industry and is implementing new, exciting ways to engage with our audience not just in terms of numbers, but in impact. We care about authentic engagement whether that is through our content, dialogue or events and are looking for someone to help progress us on those fronts.

Desired Attributes:

• Incredible understanding of the evolving social and digital landscape, translating product and platform innovations into new business ideas & opportunities

• Strategic thinker excited by creative campaign ideas but also grounded in data-driven insights and followed through with reporting

• Understanding of owned and paid strategies across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat, Weibo)

• Ability to take social trends and make Beautiful Destinations stand-out amongst the masses

• Ability to be self-sufficient with a strong sense of ownership and assertive follow-through

• Departmental leader who has experience managing and growing a team

• Excellent time management & communication skills

• Has good knowledge of the production process, being able to work alongside our Post Production Supervisor with content delivery dates and therefore social content calendars & campaigns

• Excited by emerging technologies and how they can provide impactful business & community opportunities
