Acorn is an Altpoint Ventures’ portfolio company focused on making parents’ lives easier through a technology platform that allows parents to search, book and pay for kid’s activities. The company recently launched its app in London, with an expected New York launch in Q4 2017 and other major US cities in 2018.

Role description:

Acorn is looking for a brilliant and experienced content marketer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience developing content and strategies for sales, growth and product marketing, while exhibiting editorial craftsmanship alongside a small, high IQ, high energy start-up team. You should have a strong attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a dedication to imbuing sales and marketing with awesome, leading edge content.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop content for targeted campaigns and sales, growth and product marketing initiatives that’s unique for kid’s activities consumers and providers
  • Create content (case studies, blogs, social media, sales presentations, emails, website, ebooks, videos) to drive clear results across a variety of channels
  • Implement  tone of voice strategies and ensure coherence across all channels

Detailed Requirements:

  • 5-years experience developing high-quality content in the form of website landing pages, articles, social media writing, sales enablement materials, ebooks, case studies, etc
  • Exceptional communication, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally, especially across marketing disciplines, sales, design, and engineering
  • Strategic, metrics-driven mindset and a passion for content marketing
  • Demonstrated record of successfully delivering high-quality projects with independence and confidence
  • Bachelor’s degree required
