Strategically located with offices in New York, London and Melbourne, Unlockd will launch multiple new international markets in 2017.  Our business is on an exciting trajectory and as we grow, we are looking for passionate people who are able to get behind our vision.

The VP Connect is responsible for identifying and developing connect (telco) supply partnerships for Unlockd in the LATAM region, a strategically important market for Unlockd. The ideal candidate for this role has a strong network of relationships across known telco providers in LATAM and can offer Unlockd guidance around the nuances as we expand into major markets in this region. The VP Connect, LATAM can be based in either the US or LATAM.

You’ll be a huge part of our success, and be responsible for:

  • Develop, maintain and grow strategic senior relationships with telco stakeholders with the view to executing a partnership between Unlockd and LATAM Telco providers.
  • Supporting all aspects of deal development initiatives with major telco carriers across LATAM markets.
  • Identify strategic business development plan for target markets, including the creation of detailed account plans to track partner progress and achievement to goals.
  • Manage complex negotiations, and understand the technical/business requirements of the telco providers in assigned region, identifying specific opportunities for partnership with Unlockd.
  • Contribute to the broader global Connect team with extensive collaboration with SVP Connect and other Regional Connect VPs.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • 8+ years of experience in strategic business development, with at least 5 years’ experience with telco partners to possess a strong understanding of the global and regional Telco/Mobile operator landscape.
  • Proven experience leading successful teams, with a record of delivering results and an ambitious will to win. 
  • Extensive relationships with key decision makers at telco carriers in key LATAM markets.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills to influence senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Experience in a dynamic start-up environment with ‘early stage’ business development success.
  • Energy, resilience and creativity, and a drive to thrive.
