About The Role

One of the keys to TeePublic success is our affiliate product which enables content creators to host merch for their fans. We believe merchandise is a tangible form of social engagement and Podcasts, Youtube Stars, Twitch Streamers and Social Media Influencers leverage the TeePublic platform to offer well designed branded products as well as curated art and apparel collections to their fans. This role will develop the sales process for our newest and best performing vertical, Podcasts, and will be tasked with making TeePublic the number 1 merchandise platform for in the Podcast space. 

More Specifically

  • Drive an effective sales process to hit (and exceed!) your monthly and quarterly goals
  • Actively prospect and determine the best KPI's for prospecting and qualifying leads within the vertical
  • Pitching and closing mid and high level enterprise accounts through cold email and phone outreach
  • Negotiate pricing and deal structures
  • Anything and everything that can go wrong with the sales process is yours to own, work through and come up with creative solutions while enlisting team support
  • Present a balanced approach to cold calling, relationship development, sales process and appointment setting
  • Drive awareness into prospect base through regular email and call campaigns as well as in person events and industry networking
  • Keep impeccable salesforce hygiene
  • Work with the account team to determine which closed accounts performed and why. Follow your lead's performance well into their life cycle as accounts to educate your process
  • Liaise with product and engineering teams to identify deficiencies in our product offering and help to determine the best path forward
  • Rely on lead and account data to iterate on and refine sales process
  • Understand the competitive landscape and our position to determine which product and pitch is a fit for a given account
  • Ability to point exactly why specific tactics are and are not working through data and constant inspection

  • 5+ years of Sales Experience preferably within early stage companies
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Proficiency with Salesforce 
  • Have used email software tools like marketo, outreach.io, salesloft ect.
